DOMUS​

The premise of this project was to experiment with the dome as a symbol of governmental power by introducing whimsical shapes to a formal building typology.

 

I created ink drawings to develop playful organic patterns that contrast against the traditonal building type. The supplementary domes were then superimposed to the North Dakota, Ohio and Oregon State capitol buildings.
